It all started when…

My mom got a gypsy costume for dress up. It was the 70’s. Bad form today. I was really in it for the tambourine. I loved dress up. Then I was cast as Betsy Ross in the IHM Celebration of America. My line was, “Hey Benjamin Franklin! Yoohoo!” (Ew today. Hilarious back then.) It got a huge laugh. I was hooked.

I wanted to make people laugh the rest of my life.

When I was cast as the Mayor in The Pied Piper in fifth grade (written for a boy - what a progressive nun!) I knew I wanted to be involved in theatre in some capacity the rest of my life. And, when I took a Directing class in college, I knew I’d want to pursue directing. I’ve dabbled in all kinds of theatre and performance - onstage and off - since that time (even during my stint as Executive Director of the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum.) Here are some credits.
